Guided Independent StudyIdeally, all children would be Baptized early and attend Faith Formation all the way through their Confirmation in 10th grade, receiving the other Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist in 3rd grade. However, due to time, family circumstances, and many other reasons, some miss quite a few years of Faith Formation. Over the past few years we have helped many older students who wish to be Confirmed prepare for Confirmation by attending a year of "catch up" classes. These classes cover all the major tenets of the Catholic faith, and prepare the student to receive Reconciliation and Eucharist (or even Baptism if they were never baptized) by the end of that school year. This "catch up" year helps them be fully ready to attend Confirmation classes in 10th grade.
Below is a description of the four part process :) It may sound like a lot, but in reality it only takes about six hours out of the whole month - 3 for Faith Formation class once a month, and Mass, 2.5 for completion of the online lesson with the book, and .5 for a brief meeting with Mrs. Woods. Please reach out by phone at 716-627-3357 or by email at [email protected] to enroll your child. It is never too late to become Catholic and it is never too late to draw nearer to God!
